Home Keeper (the “App”) respects and protects your privacy. The App is primarily an
on-device tool for managing household items, storage locations, calendar reminders,
and personal journal entries. The current version does not require account registration
and does not integrate advertising, user analytics, or cross-app tracking services.
Information you enter is stored locally on your device by default.
This Policy applies to the features currently provided by the iOS version of Home
Keeper, including item management, storage location management, calendar reminders,
and journal entries. It does not apply to information processed through other apps,
websites, or services.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Information You Enter and Store Locally
To provide its features, the App processes the following information that you choose
to enter on your device:
Room, storage location name, type, color label, and notes
To associate household items with spaces in your home
Calendar reminders
Reminder title, type, date, notes, and linked item
To display organizing, shopping, maintenance, or expiration plans
Personal journal
Entry title, text, date, mood, tags, and linked items
To let you record and search personal journal content
Please do not enter sensitive information that you do not want stored on your device,
such as identification numbers, financial account information, health information,
precise home addresses, passwords, or another person’s personal information.
2.2 Information the Current Version Does Not Actively Collect
No account is required, and we do not collect your name, phone number, or email address.
We do not collect unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or
information used for cross-app tracking.
We do not collect your precise or approximate location.
We do not access your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, system calendar,
health data, or Bluetooth information.
We do not integrate advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, social sign-in,
or a cloud-based user database.
We do not upload information stored in the App to the operator’s servers.
2.3 Information That May Be Generated by the System
Apple, the App Store, or iOS may process app download records, purchase records, basic
diagnostics, or crash information depending on your device settings. Apple processes
this information under its own privacy policy and your system privacy settings. The
App currently does not obtain personally identifiable profiles from Apple.
3. How We Use Information
The App processes information locally on your device only for the following purposes:
To save, display, search, edit, and delete items, storage locations, reminders, and journal entries;
To calculate in-app totals such as item quantity, estimated value, and reminder counts;
To display calendar plans based on dates; and
To support basic operation of the App and fix functional issues.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making,
or cross-app tracking.
4. Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
App information is stored in the application sandbox assigned to the App by iOS, which
other apps generally cannot access directly. The current version does not provide data
import, export, external sharing, or cloud synchronization features.
4.2 iCloud and Device Backups
Depending on your iOS, iCloud, and device backup settings, information in the App’s
sandbox may be included in device backups provided by Apple. Apple and you control these
backup features. You can manage iCloud and backup options in iOS Settings.
4.3 Retention and Deletion
Information remains on your device until you delete the relevant record in the App or
uninstall the App. iOS generally deletes local App information after uninstallation,
although existing iCloud or device backups may remain subject to Apple’s backup rules.
4.4 Security Notice
We use safeguards appropriate to the App’s current architecture to reduce the risk of
unauthorized access. However, no electronic storage method can guarantee absolute
security. Please protect your device passcode and configure iCloud and device backup
settings appropriately.
5. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure
The App does not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising purposes,
and it does not actively transmit information stored in the App to third parties.
Information may nevertheless be processed by another party in the following situations:
You choose to have a device backup containing App information processed by Apple or another backup service; or
Disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or a lawful request from a competent authority.
The App does not provide a feature for actively sharing App information with third parties.
System services such as Apple device backups are governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Device Permissions
The current iOS version does not request access to location, camera, photo library,
microphone, contacts, system calendar, notification tracking, or advertising identifiers.
If a future version adds a feature requiring a system permission, we will explain its
purpose and request your authorization before using it, and we will update this Privacy
Policy. You can manage granted permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Because information is stored locally on your device by default, you can exercise the
following rights directly through the App:
Access: View saved items, locations, reminders, and journal entries in the App.
Correction: Edit records to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: Delete individual records or uninstall the App to remove its information from your device.
Withdraw permission: If a future version requests a system permission, you may withdraw it in iOS Settings.
The App currently does not provide accounts, so there is no account deletion process.
8. Third-Party Services and External Content
The current version does not integrate advertising, analytics, social sign-in,
third-party push notification, or cloud storage SDKs. Images used in the interface are
included locally in the installation package and do not retrieve your information from
image websites while you use the App.
The App does not control the App Store, iOS, iCloud, or device backup services provided
by Apple. Please review the

for information about Apple’s processing practices.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, or service
adjustments. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you through an
in-app notice, release notes, or another reasonable method. The revised Policy takes
effect on the effective date stated in it.
